SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Doughy, Erewhon’s No. 1-selling cookie dough brand, unveiled its new brand identity as it enters its next chapter of growth, supported by an influential group of celebrity and consumer industry investors.
Founded by Kelly Ramey in her Santa Monica kitchen, Doughy has grown from a homemade recipe into a fast-growing sweet treat brand, earning its position as Erewhon’s top-selling cookie dough and establishing a national retail presence at Whole Foods Market, Fresh Thyme Market, Wegmans, and other leading retailers.
Doughy is unlike any cookie dough on the market. Instead of flour, oils, and refined sugar, it’s made with simple, recognizable ingredients. Its signature Chocolate Chip flavor has just six: cashews, maple syrup, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, sea salt, and baking soda. The result is a rich, crave-worthy cookie dough with just 4 grams of sugar and 65 calories per cookie.
Doughy is backed by leading consumer investment firms including Oversubscribed Ventures, Corazon Capital, Amok Consumer Growth Fund, Quorum Capital Partners, Bluestein Ventures, and Simple Food Ventures. Its investors bring deep expertise in building iconic consumer brands, including Erin and Sara Foster of Oversubscribed Ventures; Lindsay Levin, former CMO of RXBAR and Venture Partner at Bluestein Ventures; John Lowe, former CEO of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Managing Director of Amok; and Rachelle Lynch, Operating Partner at Amok, who has helped scale brands including Jeni’s, Hu, and Magic Spoon.
“Doughy is our first CPG investment, and it’s exactly the kind of company we set out to back,” said John Lowe, Managing Director of Amok Consumer Growth Fund and former CEO of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. “What made Jeni’s special in its early days was the ability to take something familiar and completely reinvent it. Kelly has done the same with cookie dough, building an entirely new recipe around cashews. It’s a game-changing innovation that delivers exceptional taste, simple ingredients, and a naturally gluten-free, low-glycemic product. We see tremendous potential in what she’s building.”
The refreshed identity reflects Doughy’s evolution into a modern sweet treat brand, pairing nostalgic indulgence with bold, playful design. The new branding brings Doughy’s commitment to crave-worthy flavor and simple ingredients to life, positioning the company for its next phase of national growth.
Alongside its rebrand, Doughy is introducing a new flat-pack format that makes baking and enjoying its cookie dough easier than ever this holiday season. Beginning November 1, the new look and format will debut in the refrigerated dough aisle at select Target stores nationwide, featuring limited-edition holiday flavors Gingerbread, Sugar Cookie, and Peppermint Bark, alongside the classic Chocolate Chip.
“When we started Doughy, we didn’t want to make another version of cookie dough. We wanted to rethink what cookie dough could be,” said Kelly Ramey, Founder and CEO of Doughy. “By starting with cashews and maple syrup instead of traditional flour, butter, and sugar, we created something entirely different, without sacrificing the incredible taste and nostalgia that make cookie dough so special. From day one, our belief has been simple: you shouldn’t have to compromise on taste to feel good about what you’re eating. Our new brand identity brings that philosophy to life and reflects just how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed next.”
